Full-time English Teacher Required

Department of Western Languages, Silpakorn University, Bangkok campus, is currently looking to hire one qualified native English speaking teacher. We have a position available commencing the middle of May 2010.

This post requires your attendance for 12-14 teaching periods a week (One period equals 50 minutes) plus 6 office hours for consultation and administration. The courses are communication skills related. Student performance is above average.

All applicants must meet the following requirements:
- A verifiable university degree from a reputable university.
- TEFL/TESOL certificate
- And/ or experience of EFL teaching
- Native speaker from Canada, USA, UK, Australia or New Zealand

We offer:
- A one year contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance and departmental requirements
- A one year bonus (one month salary) after successful completion of the second year
- Salary 19,790 THB/month; plus housing allowance 8,000 THB/month
- 22 working days paid holiday per year, plus public holidays
- Visa and work permit expenses
- Assistance in finding suitable accommodation
